General Rental Information
Important documents
The driver has to be in possession of a valid driving license for at least 1 year. Furthermore, the following conditions apply depending on the issuing country of the driving licence.
Driving license printed with non Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an International driving license.
For driving licenses from countries not part of the Geneva/ Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g. China), a Self-Translation Form provided by ELDorado must be presented with the original license.
Please show a valid driver's license and ID card/ passport at time of pick up.
Photocopies, digital licenses, Learner's Permits, and driver's licenses with driving restrictions will not be accepted.
ELDorado reserves the right to decline a rental if the renter fails to provide the required documents or a credit card on the driver's name with sufficient limit.

Tariff information
General
The following credit cards are accepted: all credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies - such as American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa - as well as any prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron, Mastercard). The renter must be the owner of the indicated credit card.
Cash Payment is not accepted.
Please note, that payments with credit card may require the PIN of the credit card.
An advance charge approval is obtained for the chosen means of payment as a security. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.

The security deposit will be returned 14 days after the termination of the rental and the guarantee destroyed.
Special rental information when booking Prepaid rates
Prepaid tariff - Pay now
When booking at a prepaid rate, the payment will be charged along with the total rental price (incl. booked extras and charges) prior to the rental. The driver and mode of payment shall be finalised at the time of reservation and cannot be changed. The confirmed credit card should be valid and available for presentation on collection of the vehicle. All extra costs that occur during the car rental will be charged to this credit card.
A refund shall not be issued for non-collection, vehicle being collected late or returned early.
A prepaid booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (depending on availability) in return for a booking modification fee of 18,00 JOD. Any payment already made towards the rental will not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this modification leads to a lesser rental cost. Any changes made to a prepaid reservation may impact the rental rate. A change from a prepaid rate to a non-prepaid rate is not possible.
A booking can be cancelled before the rental begins. In the event of cancellation, the payment in advance already made towards the rental shall be paid back subject to a cancellation charge, which will be withheld and shall be in the amount of the rental charge (including any extras and charges) for a maximum of 3 rental days. No-show
In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time the rental charge already paid shall be withheld in full.
Protection conditions
In case of accident, damage and/or theft a police record is obligatory for all protections. If the driver does not ensure police presence or a police record, the full amount for the damage will be charged to the driver irrespective of the kind of the purchased protection.
Third Party Insurance (TI)
Protection coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of 350,000.00 JOD for personal injuries and material damages.
Excluded from the protection is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All protection as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
All rates are inclusive of LDW.
Loss damage waiver (incl. theft protection) removes the driver’s responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of damage or theft.

If LDW is declined, the customer will be held liable for the full value of the car.
Tyre and Windscreen Coverage (TG)
Tyre and Windscreen Coverage provides cover against the consequences of damages on tyres, windscreen, side windows, backwindow, mirror glass, wheel caps, and hubcaps.
If TG is not accepted, the customer will be held liable for the full extent of the damage.
Personal Accident Protection (PAP)
By taking out personal accident protection can also be extended to cover consequences of an accident. By taking out this protection the limit of liability is:

Pedestrian coverage is limited to 1,000.00 JOD.

Extras
Accessories are bookable without obligation and subject to availability.
During the booking process, you have the option to reserve various additional equipment. If a fee is shown, it is only due once and applies to the entire duration of the rental.
Baby and booster seats
Baby seats, child seats, and booster seats are available subject to availability.

Navigation system
Navigation systems are available subject to availability for 6.00 JOD/day. These accessories can be requested during the booking process for a fee and are subject to availability.
Additional Driver
Additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement for a fee of 5.00 JOD/day. Each additional driver must present their valid driving license and ID card/ passport at the time of pick up.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available for 4.00 JOD/day. This service can be requested during the booking process for a fee and is subject to availability.
Mobile phone
Mobile phones are available for 4.00 JOD/day. This service can be requested during the booking process for a fee and is subject to availability.
Refueling
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to ELDorado. If the renter chooses to return the vehicle non-refueled, they will be charged for the missing fuel at the end of the rental.
One-Way Rentals
One-way rentals are allowed within ELDorado locations in Jordan, depending on tariff conditions. Additional charges may apply.
Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions
Cross-border rentals are not allowed.

Prepaid cards are accepted for payment, but not as a security deposit.

Other Fees and Taxes
Additional Driver
An additional driver surcharge of 5.00 JOD per day applies.
Refueling Service Charge
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to ELDorado. If the renter chooses to return the vehicle non-refueled, they will be charged for the missing fuel at the end of the rental. The refueling charge is 2.00 JOD per liter plus a refueling service fee of 10.00 JOD.
Vehicle Cleaning
A vehicle cleaning fee of 10.00 JOD applies if the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition.
Loss Of Keys
A fee of 150.00 JOD applies for the loss of car keys.
Administration Fee
An administration fee of 5.00 JOD applies to each damage/accident report that is processed.
Traffic Violations
A handling fee of 10.00 JOD applies for each traffic violation or parking ticket that occurs during the rental period.
Taxes
All rates include 16% VAT.
Exchange Rates
All charges are calculated in local currency. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, there may be a difference between the amount initially blocked on the renter's credit card and the final amount charged.
Toll Fees
All toll fees are the responsibility of the renter.
